Outbound shipment of desiccated coconut in June was 13,462 MT valued at USD42.463 million, more than double last year data at USD19.645 million (+116.1%).  This was delivered to 45 various countries abroad.  The Netherlands was market leader for the second consecutive month at 3,188 MT (23.7%), dislodging during the two-month period consistent first placer, the USA, which held 2,621 MT (19.5%).  
The next five major importers collectively accounted for 22.7%: Russia 828 MT, Australia 569 MT, United Kingdom 560 MT, Germany 558 MT, China 541 MT.  Fourteen others which bought volume under 500 MT (122-441 MT range) jointly shared 26.5%.  This included Turkey, Canada, Brazil, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Egypt, Japan, Spain, Estonia, Colombia, Israel, Argentina.
On the other hand, smaller orders below 100 MT (6-99 MT range) were made by 24 other countries with combined participation of 7.6%.  This comprised of Poland, Thailand, Taiwan, Belgium, Bahrain, Norway, Lithuania, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Italy, Sweden, Chile, Iraq, South Africa, Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Morocco, Czech Republic, Ireland, Urugay, Guatemala, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam.

Overseas purchases of desiccated coconut in April totaled 11,012 MT with earnings amounting to USD30.840 million escalating by 45.2% over last year mainly due to pronounced rise in traded price by 79.9%.  There were 41 country importers of this product during the month led by the USA at 2,225 MT (20.2%), followed by Netherlands at 1,813 MT (16.5%).   

The next four leading importers together accounted for 23.8% namely Germany at 854 MT, China at 651 MT, Australia at 604 MT, and Brazil at 514 MT.  Following this group with uptake ranging 334-462 MT collectively shared 14.9%.  This comprised of Russia, Canada, France, Turkey.  On the other hand, smaller loads went to 10 other countries with orders ranging 102-256 MT and jointly contributing 16.5%. This was made up of South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, United Kingdom, Spain, Chile, Israel, Thailand, Argentina.

Meanwhile, 21 other countries took in volume below 100 MT (1-96 MT range) with combined participation of 8.2%.  These countries include Sweden, New Zealand, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Puerto Rico, Norway, Costa Rica, Belgium, South Africa, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Uruguay, United Arab Emirates, El Salvador, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Estonia, Taiwan, Guatemala.

Overseas trade of desiccated coconut which amounted to 13,939 MT registered turnover of USD37.101 million, a substantial increase of 59.4% from the previous year driven by 66.7% increase in export price.  The product was shipped to 40 various countries led by the USA at 3,856 MT (27.7% share).  This was followed by the Netherlands at 1,990 MT (14.3%), and China at 1,202 MT (8.6%) which made up the top three markets. 
Following behind were five countries with combined market share of 24.7%: Turkey 833 MT, Australia 818 MT, Germany 689 MT, Russia 595 MT, United Kingdom 502 MT.  The next 11 outlets held volume ranging 103-403 MT and collectively accounted for 18.9% for a total volume of 2,634 MT. The group was made up of South Korea, Brazil, France, Indonesia, Canada, Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, Colombia, Guatemala, Egypt.
Smaller orders of less than 100 MT (1-79 MT range) were made by 21 other countries and jointly contributed 5.9% for a total of 821 MT.  This comprised of South Africa, Spain, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Chile, Ecuador, Estonia, Taiwan, Sweden, Mexico, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Portugal, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia.
