17th UCAP Annual Bowling Tournament Results: Second Meeting

The tournament’s second meeting on Thursday night, May 16 held at the Coronado Lanes, 4th Floor, Starmall Complex, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, showed the following results based from the cumulative scores of the two meetings on May 09 and May 16.  The UCPB-CIIF Foundation team maintained its lead in overall team standing, still followed by (2) Sakamoto Orient Chemicals, (3) Cargill Oil Mills Philippines, and (4) Mixed Nuts (Raco Commodities, Mitsubishi Corp. Living Essentials, UCAP).  Franklin Baker Company of the Philippines (5) and Peter Paul Philippines (6) switched places.

All winners of special awards during the meeting were male bowlers: Mark Anthony dela Cruz (Sakamoto), for the first score five consecutive spares; and Angel Arias (Franklin Baker), for the first to score four consecutive strikes and for the first to score split conversion.  The division just had a new member of Club 200 (men bowlers scoring at least 200 in a game) in the person of Angel Arias who scored 202.  

The tournament which ends on May 30 is sponsored by Cargill Oil Mills Philippines, Peter Paul Philippine Corp., and UCPB-CIIF Foundation (Gold Sponsors); Franklin Baker Company of the Philippines and Sakamoto Orient Chemicals. (Silver).
