UCAP Elects New Officers for 2018-2020

At the Annual General Membership Meeting and Elections of the United Coconut Association of the Philippines (UCAP) held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Presidential Suite, The Richmonde Hotel, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, the following were elected officers and members of the Board of Directors for the year 2018-2020:  Chairman - Dean A. Lao, Jr.  (of the Philippine Oleochemical Manufacturers Association);  Vice-chairman - Marco C. Reyes, (Virgin Coconut Oil Producers and Traders Association of the Philippines); Treasurer - Atty. Fernando L. Uy (Philippine Coconut Research and Development Foundation); Secretary - Jose L. Lobregat (Philippine Coconut Producers Federation, Inc.).

Aside from the four officers above, the following were elected directors: Danilo L. Valdez (Association of Coconut Brokers Inc.); Jesus L. Arranza (Coconut Oil Refiners Association); Jose T. Quimson (Association of Philippine Coconut Desiccators); David Erickson V. Hernandez (Philippine Activated Carbon Manufacturers Association, Inc.); William T. Guido, (Organic Coconut Association of the Philippines). Directors representing the Philippine Coconut Oil Producers Association and the United Coconut Planters Bank will be officially announced shortly.
