16TH UCAP ANNUAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT RESULTS: FIRST MEETING

The tournament commenced last Thursday, June 08, at the Coronado Lanes, 4th Floor, Starmall Complex, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.  Based from the cumulative scores of the 1st meeting, defending champion United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) still led in overall team standing, followed by (2) CIIF Oil Mills Group, (3) Chemrez Technologies, (4) Franklin Baker Company of the Philippines, (5) Peter Paul Philippines, (6) Sakamoto Orient Chemicals, (7) Mixed Nuts (Pacific Royal Basic Foods and Mitsubishi Corp. Living Essentials), and (8) Pilipinas Kao.  

Winners of special awards were: Men’s division - Jhoped Gregorious (Pacific Royal Basic Foods), for the first to score four consecutive spares; Marish Galsim (Peter Paul Philippines), for the first to score split conversion.  Ladies’ division - Dong Clarin (UCPB) for the first to score split conversion.
